Skilled Worker - Finding a job in Canada

Working in Canada can be an exciting prospect. Depending where you worked before, which country and what credentials you hold, there may be some differences when looking for a job in Canada.

Some credentials, degrees, diplomas and certifications may not be recognised by Canadian employers or regulatory boards. You may require a special assessment or to be licensed. Sometimes additional programs or courses may be required along with examinations and tests, especially if English or French is not your first language.

Some jobs in Canada are regulated and you may not be able to work in your chosen field because of this.

You should check your credentials are recognised in Canada before applying as a Skilled Worker or attempting to find a job.
