Visitors to Canada who are US Residents

A passport is recommended for entry into Canada but it is not essential. An original Birth Certificate and at lest one photo ID card is accepted. Permanent residents of the USA must also bring their Green Card. Naturalized US citizens should carry their naturalization certificate.
