Canadian Temporary Resident Visa (Visitor TRV)
Visitors from some countries require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to visit or pass through Canada.
Visitors must meet the basic entry requirements for all people entering Canada and also apply for a TRV. The TRV must be granted before leaving for Canada and should be presented to the customs official at the border or port of entry.
To apply for a Temporary Resident Visa for Canada you must complete the following forms:
1) IMM 5257 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa

The application should be submitted to the closest Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate.
